About Bolt Checkout Everywhere Bolt Checkout Everywhere (“BCE”) is Bolt’s product that helps merchants improve performance from their marketing channels (paid or organic) via an accelerated checkout experience. We can identify 80+ million shoppers to enable seamless conversion for them and therefore drive higher CVRs, incremental sales and improve ROAS. We have partnered up with Google (you can read more here), to provide a “Buy Now” checkout experience in Google organic and paid surfaces. In order to set up BCE with Google, please follow these steps: Integration Steps Step 1: Enable Bolt Checkout Everywhere If you are an existing Bolt merchant and want to use BCE, please contact your Bolt account manager. If you are not an existing Bolt merchant and want to use BCE, please onboard to BCE and complete all the necessary steps here. Step 2: Make sure you have a Google Merchant Center account and log in In order to connect BCE with Google organic and paid links, you need to have a Google Merchant Center account and have uploaded your products to the Merchant Center. In case you don’t have a Google Merchant Center account, you can have more information here. If you haven’t uploaded your products to the Merchant Center, please follow the steps here. If you have a Google Merchant account and your products are uploaded to the Merchant Center, please log in here. Step 3: Obtain your BCE links URL template Access the merchant dashboard by typing in your browser https://merchant.bolt.com/ and signing in. You will find a “Checkout Everywhere” section in the left hand side navigation menu of the merchant dashboard. Go to the “Marketing Platforms Integration” section and click on “Google - Generate my BCE links URL template”. Copy the URL template and follow step 4 below. Typically, the BCE links IURL template will be like this: https://merchantname.c.bolt.com/g?publishable_key=s9SCO8_YWzc8.e9u40Dhca62Q.287cdc8a8ea49543ef48fe772c5bac09b52ab66a014402fb8761bf4cd5f7fcb3&sku={id} Step 4: Make sure you have a Google Merchant Center account and log in Once, you have the BCE links URL template, to apply your BCE checkout capability for your appropriate destination, ads or free listings, follow the below steps: In your Google Merchant Center, navigate to the left menu and click Business info. Add the BCE checkout URL to your product feed using the checkout link template [checkout_link_template] attribute. On the “Checkout” card, click Edit checkout settings. Select the radio button to include the URL and leave the textbox blank because you’re providing the URL via the product feeds. Select each destination where you want your products to display: Show in ads and Show in free listings. Click Save. Once you’ve clicked Save, the checkout URL structure you entered will go live. More information here. Please note, that for BCE links to work with Google, the ID on your Google product data feed needs to be your “SKU”. See Google’s recommendation to use SKU for the ID attribute here. If you use another attribute that is not SKU to uniquely identify each product, BCE links won’t work with Google.
