You can create Bolt orders from within the NetSuite ERP system. You can see NetSuite’s Official Documentation for other instructions on using the NetSuite ERP product UI.
Orders
There are two ways to create a sales order via Bolt in NetSuite ERP:
- From your NetSuite ERP dashboard, hover over “Transactions” in the top navigation bar. In the drop down menu, find and hover over “Sales”. Then, find and select “Enter Sales Orders”.
- On the “Sales Order” page, select and fill out the sales order form as you normally would. Select “Bolt” as the “Payment Method” under the “Payment” section of the form.
- Save the form. When the form reloads, you’ll see a “Bolt Checkout” button in the top row of the form. Click it, then fill out the payment information and select “Pay”.
You should then see a browser notification alerting you of successful payment.
- When the page reloads, you’ll see transaction information. Select “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side). You’ll then see the “Order Reference Number”, the “Bolt Reference Number”, and the “Bolt Transaction Token”. You’ll also see the transaction status and more information on the transactions status in Bolt.
- If you click on the “Bolt Reference Number”, you’ll be taken to Bolt’s “Webhooks” page, which will show you the transaction event in Bolt’s Dashboard.

- Fill out the Sales Order form as you normally would.
- Select “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side).
- Check the “Bolt Payment” box in the last column.
- Save the form. When the form reloads, you’ll see a “Bolt Checkout” button in the top row of the form. Click it, then fill out the payment information and select “Pay”.

Payment & Captures
- Create an Order via Bolt as you normally would.
- After you have created the cash order, go to the “Sales Order” summary page.
- Find the “Fulfill” button at the top of the page, above the “Primary Information” section. Click it.
- You’ll then be able to edit details of the item shipment. Click “Save”.
- When the page reloads, click the Bill button at the top of the “Item Shipment” page.
- You’ll then see the “Sales Order” summary page. Click the “Next Bill” button.
- You’ll then be able to edit details of the cash sale. Click “Save”.
- When the page reloads, you’ll see transaction information. Select “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side). You’ll then see the “Order Reference Number”, the “Bolt Reference Number”, and the “Bolt Transaction Token”. You’ll also see the transaction status and more information on the transactions status in Bolt.
- If you click on the “Bolt Reference Number”, you’ll be taken to Bolt’s “Webhooks” page, which will show you the transaction event in Bolt’s Dashboard.
- Create an Invoice Order via Bolt as you normally would.
- After you have created the cash order, go to the “Sales Order” summary page.
- Find the “Fulfill” button at the top of the page, above the “Primary Information” section. Click it.
- You’ll then be able to edit details of the item shipment. Click “Save”.
- When the page reloads, click the “Bill” button at the top of the “Item Shipment” page.
- You’ll then see the “Invoice” summary page. Click “Save”.
- When the page reloads, you’ll see invoice information. Click the “Accept Payment” button.
- When the page reloads, you’ll see and be able to edit payment information. Click “Save”.
- To confirm capture, you can then select “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side). You’ll then see the “Order Reference Number”, the “Bolt Reference Number”, and the “Bolt Transaction Token”. You’ll also see the transaction status and more information on the transactions status in Bolt.
- If you click on the “Bolt Reference Number”, you’ll be taken to Bolt’s “Webhooks” page, which will show you the transaction event in Bolt’s Dashboard.
- Create an Order via Bolt as you normally would.

- Scroll down to the “Items” tab in the sub-navigation menu and remove items you do not want to include in the capture. Click “Save”.
- To confirm partial capture, select “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side). You’ll then see the “Order Reference Number”, the “Bolt Reference Number”, and the “Bolt Transaction Token”. You’ll also see the transaction status and more information on the transactions status in Bolt.
- If you click on the “Bolt Reference Number”, you’ll be taken to Bolt’s “Webhooks” page, which will show you the transaction event in Bolt’s Dashboard.
- You’ll then see that there are new payment and authorized totals on the transaction page in the Bolt Dashboard, matching to totals listed in NetSuite ERP.
- Go back to the “Sales Order” page, click the “Next Bill” button, and then repeat step #6 through the end to capture the remaining portions of the sale.
- Create an Invoice Order via Bolt as you normally would.
- After you have created the cash order, go to the “Sales Order” summary page.
- Find the “Fulfill” button at the top of the page, above the “Primary Information” section. Click it.
- You’ll then be able to edit details of the item shipment. Click “Save”.
- When the page reloads, click the “Bill” button at the top of the “Item Shipment” page.
- Scroll down to the “Items” tab in the sub-navigation menu and remove items you do not want to include in the capture. Click “Save”. Divide the items into different invoices as needed.
- Once you divide the bill in the way you desire, click “Accept Payment” to capture the desired portion of the bill.
- On the “Payment” page, select the invoices you want to capture. Click “Save”.
- To confirm partial capture, select “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side). You’ll then see the “Order Reference Number”, the “Bolt Reference Number”, and the “Bolt Transaction Token”. You’ll also see the transaction status and more information on the transactions status in Bolt.
- If you click on the “Bolt Reference Number”, you’ll be taken to Bolt’s “Webhooks” page, which will show you the transaction event in Bolt’s Dashboard.
- You’ll then see that there are new payment and authorized totals on the transaction page in the Bolt Dashboard, matching to totals listed in NetSuite ERP.
- Go back to the “Sales Order” page, click the “Next Bill” button, and then repeat step #6 through the end to capture the remaining portions of the sale.
Pay-by-Link must be set up by Bolt before you can use it. Reach out to your Bolt Customer Success Manager to arrange.
- To generate a Pay-by-Link URL, create a Sales Order, selecting “Bolt” as the “Payment Method”. Then, go to “Bolt” from the sub-navigation menu (it will likely be on the right side).
- You’ll see a button that says “Generate A Link to Checkout” in the right column. Click it.
- This will generate a hyperlink that says “Checkout Via Link”. Click it to ensure the checkout modal appears in the browser.
- Copy the URL address and send it to the customer.
