Learn how to test the Adobe Quick Checkout experience in your storefront.
Use the following steps after you have set up and enabled Quick Checkout.
Prerequisites
- Quick Checkout has been installed on your storefront
- You have access to a registered Bolt Account in both your production and sandbox environment
How to Test Quick Checkout
Checkout
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account (or create an account). A modal appears.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Select Place Order.
- Navigate to one of the following shopper dashboards:
- Scroll to My Orders to confirm the order has been placed.
WARNING
Testing in production requires a working credit card. If testing in production, remember to refund the transaction.
Add a New Card
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal appears.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Select Add a New Card.
- Input the credit card details.
- Select Place Order.
- Navigate to one of the following shopper dashboards:
- Scroll to My Orders to confirm the order has been placed.
Edit Ship To Address
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal appears.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Navigate to the Ship To section.
- Select the Edit icon ✏️.
- Provide another shipping address.
- Navigate to one of the following shopper dashboards:
- Scroll to My Orders to confirm the order has been placed.
Input Discount Code
If discount codes are enabled, perform the following test:
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal appears.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Expand Apply Discount Code.
- Input a working discount code.
- Navigate to the Order Summary section.
- Validate the discount amount and type has been correctly applied.
