We also updated the shopper login module with a new, sleek look that better explains what Bolt is and to create trust with shoppers. GDPR shoppers will not be impacted by these changes. We’ve reimagined the dashboard to showcase all the Bolt products and features you love, and included more actionable data about their store with Store Insights. To switch to the new dashboard, login to Bolt and click Switch to Beta within the banner at the top. You can switch back to the old dashboard experience by clicking Go to Legacy Dashboard at the bottom of the new menu. # q3-2022 # merchant # enhancement October 28, 2022 Automatic Login Improvements # The New Bolt now offers device-based automatic login during checkout, which recognizes active sessions on verified devices to skip the authentication step. This feature is designed to reduce friction while keeping shoppers’ data secure. Verified device: After a shopper successfully authenticates via one-time verification code, this device is now verified and eligible for automatic login during checkout via device token. Unverified device: When a shopper creates a Bolt account during checkout, they do not have to complete authentication via one-time verification code, so this device is considered unverified. Logging in during checkout on another device forces logout on this unverified device to protect shoppers’ personal data.
