Manage Your Blocklist


The merchant-specific blocklist is currently available to participating Beta merchants.


For users of Fraud Protection, add shopper details to your blocklist to automatically reject transactions originating from these IP or email addresses.

This rejection happens pre-authorization, so it is an effective way of preventing known fraudsters.

How to Add an Email Address

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Fraud Protection > Settings > Blocklist > Email Address.
  3. Click + Add Email Address.
  4. Enter the email address.
  5. Click Add.

How to Add an IP Address

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Fraud Protection > Settings > Blocklist > IP Address.
  3. Click + Add IP Address.
  4. Enter the IP address.
  5. Click Add.

How to Remove a Shopper

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Fraud Protection > Settings > Blocklist.
  3. Locate the IP or email address and click Delete (trash can icon).

Considerations

Currently, this blocklist does not support transactions made through alternative payment methods (APMs).
