Before You Start Merchants must have a pre-existing relationship with Credova before setting up this payment method. Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request enablement of this feature so the Payment Settings page displays Credova as an option. Obtain Credova Keys INFO To set up Credova for a sandbox environment, create a Credova test account to access the sandbox credentials. Go to your Credova merchant account and retrieve the following credentials: Store code Password Add Credova to Bolt Checkout Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard. Navigate to Settings > Payments. Find Alternative Payment Methods and click Add Credova. Provide the following keys: Store code Password Define default default division settings: Min Transaction Amount: Enter the minimum allowed transaction amount. Max Transaction Amount: Enter the maximum allowed transaction amount; must be 5000 or lesser. To enable Credova in checkout immediately, set the Enable in Checkout toggle to on . If you aren’t ready to make Credova visible yet, leave this toggle off . Select Add Credova. Manage Division Settings After you link your Credova account, configure how Credova works for each division. Log in to the Bolt Merchant Dashboard. Navigate to Settings > Payments. Find Alternative Payment Methods and click Manage Credova. Adjust the division settings and click Update. Switch or Disconnect Credova Account Follow the steps in Switch or Disconnect Account. Sandbox Testing Refer to Credova’s documentation on sandbox testing. Returns and Redrafts Credova supports two types of refunds: Returns: Initiate when the shopper will not complete the transaction with Credova (i.e., wants to return the product or use a different payment method). Completely cancels the financing agreement and customer approval status. Redrafts: If there was a problem with the product or inventory distress on the merchant’s side, this method allows the shopper to keep their approval status for another financing term. To perform a return or redraft: Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard. Go to Transactions and click a transaction that you want to refund. Click Actions > Issue refund. Enter the following information required by Credova: • Agent name • Agent phone number • Agent email • Return type Click Issue Refund. Any changes made in the Credova Magento plugin or another plugin will not apply to Bolt Checkout.
