• During checkout, the Bolt one-time verification prompt now appears after a returning shopper enters one of their identification methods (either phone number or email address).
• This removes a step from the logged-in checkout flow and helps shoppers who may have trouble remembering the right combination of identifiers associated with their account.

This new feature will allow US-based merchants to offer their shoppers the opportunity to enable a Bolt shopper account, where they can enjoy the benefits of the Bolt Network. Merchants will see an increase in the percentage of cross-network transactions and checkout conversions.

Bolt’s embedded component library now includes a component that enables shoppers to update their payment method directly from a merchant’s storefront account and save new card details or addresses back to their Bolt account for future use across the Bolt network.

Bolt Accounts is now available with two product offerings to enable merchants to fully customize the checkout experience:

• Accounts: Detect and authenticate shoppers in the Bolt network during checkout.
• Embedded One-Click Checkout: For both logged-in and guest checkout, your shoppers will enjoy a one-click checkout experience. Now available on Adobe Commerce.

• Added: Previously, via an SMS code was the only way to log in to your Bolt Account. Now users can log in using a code sent to the email address associated with their account.
