Follow the steps in this article to test your BigCommerce site integration with Bolt One-Click.
To test Bolt One-Click for BigCommerce, follow the instructions for each of the following scenarios to confirm successful integration:

Pre-Requisites
- You have access to a registered Bolt Merchant Account in both your production environment.
- You must have access to a Bolt Shopper Account Dashboard.
How to Test One-Click Checkout
Checkout
- Navigate to your storefront’s sandbox environment.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal should appear.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Select Place Order.
- Navigate to the Shopper Dashboard.
- Scroll to My Orders to confirm the order has been placed.
Add a New Card
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal appears.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Click Add a New Card.
- Input the credit card details.
- Note: During production testing, do not use test credit card numbers, as they will not function.
- Click Place Order.
- Navigate to the Shopper Dashboard.
- Scroll to My Orders to confirm the order has been placed.
Refund Transaction
After you place the test transaction using a real credit card, refund the transaction. For step-by-step instructions, follow Big Commerce’s documentation on Performing a Refund.
Edit Ship To Address
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal should appear.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Navigate to the Ship To section.
- Select the Edit icon ✏️.
- Provide another shipping address.
- Navigate to the Shopper Dashboard.
- Scroll to My Orders to confirm the order has been placed.
Input Discount Code
If discount codes are enabled, perform the following test:
- Navigate to your storefront.
- Place an item in the cart.
- Proceed to checkout.
- Enter an email address that is associated with a Bolt Account. A modal should appear.
- Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the account’s email address.
- Expand Apply Discount Code.
- Input a working discount code.
- Navigate to the Order Summary section.
- Validate the discount amount and type has been correctly applied.
