Login with Passkeys
Learn how to login to your shopper account with Passkeys.

Passkeys allow you to sign in with biometrics. This means you can sign in using your face or fingerprint, instead of a password or one-time code.

Create a Passkey

Create a Passkey on mobile

You can create a Passkey in your Bolt Shopper Dashboard.

INFO

You can manage your Passkeys from any device, but you can currently only create new passkeys from a mobile device.

  1. From any mobile device, log into your Bolt Account at https://account.bolt.com
  2. Go to “Account Settings”, then “Passkeys”.
  3. Select “+ Create Passkey”.
  4. Follow your device instructions and select your preferred method of authentication.
  5. That’s it!

After you complete your device’s instructions, you’ll see a record of the passkeys you’ve created with a confirmation message.

Use Passkeys

You can use passkeys on any device from the same provider (for example, between an iPhone and a Macbook).

INFO

Not all merchants use Passkeys.

  1. When you use your email to sign into a participating merchant’s site, Bolt will automatically verify if you have a Passkey set up on your device.
  2. Your device will ask you whether you’d like to use a Passkey to log in. If so, follow your device’s login flow.
  3. That’s it!

Delete Passkeys

Delete a Passkey on mobile

You can delete Passkeys in your Bolt Shopper Dashboard.

  2. Go to “Account Settings”, then “Passkeys”.
  3. You’ll see a record of the Passkeys you’ve created.
  4. Select any “Delete” icon 🗑.
  5. This will delete all Passkeys and log you out of all sessions and devices, including the one you are using.
