Bolt will only contact you via SMS text or email.

To ensure you are actually receiving an email from Bolt, you should check the sender’s email address. It should be an address with @bolt.com at the end. For example:

  • support@bolt.com

Bolt Support will never ask you to share your one-time password via SMS or email.

When and why will Bolt contact me?

Bolt will contact you via SMS text or email when you:

  • Request a one-time verification code to check out at a Bolt-supported store.
  • Request a one-time verification code for log into your Bolt Account.
  • Change, add, or remove your shipping or billing address during checkout.
  • Change, add, or remove your shipping or billing address in your Bolt Account.
  • Change, add, or remove your payment information during checkout.
  • Change, add, or remove your payment information in your Bolt Account.
  • Request support assistance.

Bolt will also occasionally contact you to inform you of new security policies or other critical information you need to keep your account and information secure.
