How it works

When a shopper with a Bolt account abandons a cart, Bolt logs the cart and device. After a waiting period (to rule out accidental closes), Bolt sends abandoned cart notifications. Bolt adheres to CAN-SPAM regulations. Typical flow: shopper abandons cart on desktop, email sent after 2 hours, follow-up email after 24 hours. Get started

  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard
  2. Click Abandoned Carts in the left navigation
  3. Click Get Started Today. A Bolt representative enables the feature
After enablement, open Merchant Dashboard > Abandoned Carts to review abandon rate, recovered rate, and per-cart details.
