Connect a Bank
Learn how to connect your bank account to Bolt Finance SuperApp.

Connect a Bank

Linking a bank account allows you to transfer funds from your external bank into your Bolt wallet.

If you completed identity verification and your account was approved, you can proceed to connect a bank account:

  1. Log in to Bolt Finance SuperApp.
  2. On the Home screen, tap the avatar icon in the top-left corner to open your profile.
  3. In your profile, tap Connect a bank.
  4. On the Verification is successful screen, tap Next.
  5. Review and accept the following disclosures:
    • Electronic communication
    • Consumer checking account agreement
    • Midland Privacy Notice
  6. Tap Required to view a disclosure.
  7. Read the disclosure > tap Accept.
  8. Once all three disclosures are accepted, tap Continue.
  9. On the Start by connecting your bank account screen, tap Continue.
  10. When the Plaid modal loads, tap Continue.
  11. Enter your phone number or select Continue as Guest.
  12. Select your bank by searching or choosing from the list, then tap the bank’s logo to continue.
  13. On the Bank login screen, tap Continue to login.
  14. When the login page opens in a web browser, enter your bank username and password > tap Sign In.
  15. On the Verify your identity screen, select Mobile > Tap Get code.
  16. Enter the code sent to your mobile > Tap Submit.
  17. You will see your account information or a list of accounts if you have multiple accounts > tap the checkbox in front of an account that you want to link to Bolt wallet.
  18. Optionally select the checkboxes if you want to share the following information to Bolt:
    • Account holder name(s) & Role(s) (Data necessary to verify account ownership)
    • Account number and routing number (Data necessary to enable money movement across financial institutions)
  19. Tap Continue.
  20. Review the connected account information > tap the checkbox to acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Terms and conditions > tap Connect account information.
  21. You will see an information about your bank account that will be connected to Bolt > tap Continue to complete the process.

If you are unable to connect to a bank, tap:

  • Try again - To retry connecting to the bank that you selected earlier.
  • Try another institution - To connect to another bank.

  1. Confirm your bank account account that will be connected to Bolt > tap Continue to complete the process.
  2. Optionally you can save your mobile number with Plaid or finish the process without saving number.
  3. After connecting your bank account to Bolt, you will see the Deposit screen.
  4. Select a predefined deposit amount or enter the deposit amount that you want to transfer from your bank to your Bolt wallet.
  5. Tap Continue to send the deposit to Bolt Wallet.
  6. Review the summary of the deposit transaction, tap:
  • Edit amount - To modify the deposit amount.
  • Review - To proceed.
  1. Confirm the deposit information > tap Confirm.
  2. On the Deposit initiated screen, tap Back home to complete the process.

Once you connect the bank account, you can view the bank information. And if required, disconnect a bank.
