Learn how to send a P2P transfer in Bolt Finance SuperApp.

Send P2P Transfers

To send peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers to other Bolt app users, the app requires access to your device contact list. This permission is required only once - if already granted, you can skip the permission step and start sending transfers right away.

Set App Permissions

  1. Log in to Bolt Finance SuperApp.
  2. On the Home screen, tap Send/Receive.
  3. On the No contacts added yet screen, tap Change permissions.
  4. In your device settings, tap Contacts.
  5. Select Limited Access or Full Access.
  6. Return back to Bolt Finance SuperApp.
  7. Once access is granted - or if it was already enabled - you can search for users.

Send P2P Transfer to Bolt App Users

  1. In the search bar, type the username, phone number, or email of the person you want to send a transfer to.
  2. Find the designated transfer recipient > tap their name.
  3. Tap Send.
  4. Enter the transfer amount and tap Continue.
  5. Optionally, edit the amount or add a description > tap Review.
  6. On the confirmation screen, tap Confirm.
  7. On the success screen, tap Back to Home.

Send P2P Transfers to Non-App Users

  1. In the search bar, type the username, phone number, or email of the person you want to send a transfer to.
  2. Find the designated transfer recipient > tap their name.
  3. If the recipient does not have a Bolt app, you will see the Invite User to join Bolt screen.
  4. Tap Invite to send an invitation.
  5. You can share the invite through various apps (e.g., Gmail, WhatsApp), depending on your device settings.
