Enable Single Sign-On (SSO)

Bolt’s Single Sign-on (SSO) offering upgrades your existing shopper accounts for seamless login and access to all of Bolt’s account-based shopper features. Bolt Single Sign-on enables merchants to increase account adoption, reduce account friction, and leverage the Bolt Account Network.

How to Set up SSO

Planning Steps

1. Create a List of Login Buttons

Bolt requires a list of all existing login buttons displayed across your storefront to ensure all login flows are accounted for and updated.

2. Outline Login Flows

Provide a description of any B2B account login flows. In most cases, Bolt SSO sits independently from B2B flows outside of the standard shopper account flow.

3. Submit Information to Bolt

Once you have accounted for all login buttons and outlined any existing B2B account login flows, you are ready to submit this information to your Customer Success Manager to begin SSO setup.

Platform Steps

1. Update Bolt’s Access to BigCommerce
  1. Log in to BigCommerce.
  2. Navigate to Apps > Bolt Checkout.
  3. Accept the following permissions request from Bolt: bolt-access-request-bigc
  4. Notify your Customer Success Representative that access has been granted to the Bolt team.

The following text and color settings can be customized to align with your brand:

Customization Variable(s) Default
Bolt Logo Color -bolt-account-sso-logo-color $bolt-blue (#006cff)
Button Text Color -bolt-account-sso-text-color $bolt-blue (#006cff)
Button Text Font -bolt-account-sso-font $system-font-family (-apple-system, system-ui, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, sans-serif;)
Bolt Logo & Text Color -bolt-account-sso-color $bolt-blue (#006cff)

Both the text (--bolt-account-sso-text-color) and logo color (--bolt-account-sso-logo-color) take precedence over --bolt-account-sso-color.
